April 23rd 3-4pm Sneaky Philosophy £19
Sick of the divisive internet saying ‘real yoga isn’t about the poses’ but all your clients come to move? Teach the ‘why’ without the cringe. Lose the lecture, bridge this gap.Learn how to talk yoga without sounding Hallmark cards inspired. Think less guru, more retention, ditch the mystic but keep the meaning, the wisdom without the weird and get confident on the bits no one dares to commit to tell you, which is how to apply it in a real class and take it from movement to meaning – as in what to do with your arms and legs! Let’s make the heavy stuff light and bring your teaching to a point of feeling less ‘woo’ and more YOU.
May 22nd 3-4pm The Din Around Yin £19
One new research paper on poly vagal theory and we realise we got it wrong but meanwhile in yin, a shed load of solid research debunking how we affect fascia and yet yogis are still defending it… It’s time to put it to bed. Come and navigate teaching yin yoga much more simply, up to date and user friendly in this new landscape, I am going to have you feeling rock solid and sure about what you deliver. (You may want to read some of my blogs and pods prior to this if you have not been updated by your yin training provider – happy to share links)
June 25th 3-4pm Why Pain Is Like Pizza £19
This one is for EVERYONE! Your neighbour, your client, your bestie, your Aunty Pat and YOU. The world of pain and injury is crazy to navigate and it will collide with your teaching life at some point too. July 30th 3-4pm Teach Like You Belong £19
We have been told a fib, that students need novelty, challenges, more from us. The internet yells about both banging playlists and advocates no music. Should you post pose pictures or not? Are we teaching worrying about our peers, popularity and pressures to perform? Are we imitating what we think we should be or do? Belonging is when you don’t have to change or explain yourself or take on other people’s expectations – I am going to help you give less of a monkeys whilst adhering to all our yoga principles and emerge more sure footed.
