Title: Seated & Completed
What: Chair Yoga Teacher Training Course
Who For: A Structured Guide for Educators & Wellness Professionals Providing Continued Educational Development
Course Overview
This training is designed to equip teachers, wellness professionals, and caregivers with the skills and knowledge to confidently lead chair yoga sessions. The course explores the foundations of chair yoga, its benefits, purpose, aims and how to adapt yoga practices for different populations.
Key Details:
• Duration: (e.g., 20 hours, 50 hours over how many days/weeks etc)
• Format: In-person / Online / Hybrid/location or travel deets
• Who is this for? Yoga teachers, fitness instructors, healthcare workers, corporate wellness providers, educators, and caregivers.
• Prerequisites: No prior certification required, but a basic understanding of yoga principles is beneficial.
• Certification: Certificate of Completion (may count towards CPD/CEU credits where applicable) Now its a personal choice whether to register with YA but I no longer do. Yoga is an unregulated industry and registering with a governing body is not a seal of approval or standard. For many years I registered all my many teacher trainings and cpd courses with Yoga Allience and never once did anybody speak to me, enquire or check. There there is a whole movement called ‘boycott Yoga alliance’ which is worth looking into. You can absolutely get insured without them, this is a common misconception that ties people to a completely useless organisation. They are doing nothing to promote diversity, investigate abuse or even check who is doing what.

Why This Structure Tends To Work
This sort of framework is designed for clarity, engagement, and practical application.
By combining theory with hands-on learning, and vast discussion participants gain confidence in their ability to teach. Clear learning outcomes, structured modules, and assessment methods ensure that students not only understand the material but can apply it effectively in real-world settings.
(Its worth noting, you can only do your best in both structure and delivery, you ultimately have no control on how the information lands with individuals or how they choose to apply it, interpret it or represent both themselves and the fact they learnt with you)
